Be creative with this!

a lot of poeple we're friends with at Summit in the spec7 and spec miata classes have these racing team names. Even thought its not really a team, they just have some witty name. For example... Ba-Da-Bing Racing, Obi-Wan Motorsports, Lone-Eagle Motorsports, Blackwater Motorsports, Both-Feet-In Racing, Mo-Beer Racing, Thiller Automotive, etc.

What would be a good witty "team" name for my dads and my racing "team"?? Throw out some ideas!!

Its actually Both Feet In Motorsports. :-)

As for names, it took us probably about 20 hours of brainstorming while towing to different tracks before we came on a name that all the members could agree upon. Just start coming up with names, stupid or not, something will eventually come up. Its actually kind of fun.

not necessarily lol. Ba-Da-Bing Racing means nothing to Tom Sweeten, it just sounds cool.

I'm in with Ben. We are: Scuderia Povero

It gives tribute to Ferrari and translated from Italian it means "The Impoverished Racing Team"

You gotta come up with your own. The fun is in the name being different and yours. After that, you gotta go one step further and design an insignia!

Yes, your is the best one I've seen for being unique. Maybe you could go into the business of coming up with names and logo designs for race teams. Of course in your "spare" time.

I am Whatever Works Racing

mainly because that is the case, if something works I could care less what it looks like, as long as it does its job

also occasionally I am a member of TWTR(Team White Trash Racing) as that also fits too.

Let's not forgot the Ferrari of Charlestown team! I heard that the fella giving out awards at last years 12 hour got a good chuckle out of that one...

speedjunkie motorsports is me
JT racing (jive turkey racing) is a friend of mine

we have creative car names too. my it7 is the orange crush because its orange and its crushed. my friends sts civic si is the red death machine because its red, not sure where the death machine came from but for some reason it fits. another friend has a yellow spec miata called the bumble bee (he could have been more creative).

im trying to come up with something for my other friends spec miata but he wont let me use any homosexual references in the name (it is a miata after all). i want to call it the homo hardtop or something but it just hasnt hit me yet...

OHHH yeah .... we know them real well from summit.

geidls (matt and john), al gervais, jim schwartz, dave ade, john uftring are all in that group. Oh and Matt Christian... but hes not SRX7 hes ITS.

Geidl actually had to bring out the 31 car at one of the last races because he ran over a Formula Vee lol. Did some damage to Chip Herr's old car (24 warwick autopark car).

How do you know them?

Yeah, miatas are definitely great cars...but it's fun to call them girlie cars

I'm the red haired guy that's been hanging around with matt, al and dave. I've bought Tosh's SRX7, and will be racing MARRS next year.

Matt's incident with the continental was defnitely an interesting one. Folded the lower control arm back, bent the tie rod etc etc. The really frustrating part was that the formula guy was back on the track after replacing the nose. I actually spent a fair amount of time laying under the 24 after that helping to rebuild it. You know you've done a good job when you have to bust out the porta-power

Yeah the continetal guy came over and said "Hey you just did $2000 damage to my car!" and Matt said "My whole car isnt worth $2000!" haha that was funny.

I also remember when Al opened his fuel tank drain plug and found the gas to be like black and some other colors it shouldnt be.

By the way, I'm Mark Lapos's son, Eric. My dad drives the white 22. We're at almost all the MARRS races.

I did a website for a group called "WTF Engineering". They run a Chevy Cavalier in Grand-Am Cup. ******* never did pay me, either.
