covid safe racing : mazda rx7 20b turbo roadrace
Our local club managed a socially distant roadrace at Mission Raceway last weekend.
Our forcefed racing built 20b turbo rx7 roadrace car managed to start on pole with two very fast and well driven stock cars in hot persuit. You can see them in the right rear view mirror never more than a few car lengths away. We were running the small turbo at low boost with just under 600 hp. Speed basedboost controller was working well to keep the power down off the corners . We didn't win due to a small shifting error but we had fun !
