Its going to look pretty rad regardless. Curious, the plate that will be welded to the bottom of the trumpet, is that CNC'd?

The entry to the trumpet looks like sheet metal, is it?

are you talking about the square plate that bolts to the tb? if so it is waterjet cut. the radius on the stack is actually a short stack that I cut and welded to the 90deg tube.

goto page 5 post #106 for details on where to buy them. As far as linkage originally I was going to use the linkage that came with them and extend it but now I'm going try something different, I'll be posting pix on the linkage this week.

what size are they? I also notice only one injector per body. Are you planning on only running 3 injectors?

the bore size is 54mm and yes I will be using one injector per rotor, a single 1000cc injector will be more than enough.

Guys, thanks for the kind words, it's alot of hard work, Rob and I have alot of hours into this thing!

Well, Rob and I did a bunch of work, I fabbed the throttle linkage, after spending about two hours on the McMaster Carr website I received all the parts necessary for the linkage. I decided to go "old school" with the linkage, it reminds me of my old dual mikuni setup I used to have. We also finished the air box with the filter and the cowl induction setup.

digging the setup, I remember seeing the speedsource guys having their intake setup the same way with the air being drawn in from rear of the hood. Great idea, love the build.

I hope you guys didn't think Rob and I had given up on this project! It's been a while since I posted any updates, both of us have been really busy with school, so time to work on the racecar has been slim. Below is our latest, we finally installed the Petit flares and of course we had tub the stock rear fenders. We cut the fenders as high as the fender wells and then came across with sheet metal.

here you see how high we cut

thanks for the kind words fellas

as far as tire size, I'm not sure just yet. but somewhere in the neighborhood of 335 to 345, budget will definitely have some influence on tire size.

I'd love to know what your experiences are with that size of tire. I am also looking to fit 345s, but it wont be for many months.
