Question auto cross, scca and such

how do i go upon doing this, when do they have these meets and stuff, how much is it to run for the day?? how often do they have these events?? and what do i do, do i just show up and pay and i get to run or what thanks

Gotta find where they run in your area. Goto www.scca.org and look thru the site. There is a section listing the info you need. Many local groups have websites with their schedule listed.

It's a blast and you'll learn a ton about car control. I'm on the other coast, but around here it's $15-$20 for the day (anywhere from 3 to 5 runs). Just show up early, get your car teched, walk the course, and run. No special licenses or anything like that. Careful, it's addictive!

Probably the best thing about it is you can ask anyone for advise and they'll be happy to give it. And you can run what you brung.
