13b 6-PI, what to do?
Alright, so for money reasons, I am going to just be porting my 6 port and using it with my megasquirt until I can save enough for a good pport motor.
I pulled apart my motor, and it looks good inside. I want to post pictures, and get more opinions. I see scorch marks near the spark hole. But, when the engine was out, all rotor faces seemed like they were getting great compression. Strong sucking sound, and then Woosh sound coming out the exhaust.
I know the 6 PI system isn't the optimal, and someone mentioned the ports on a T2 being better. But, for now, I am considering the 6 port templates from mazdatrix. I was going to run the aux ports with a steel bike wire, run to an actuator. I previously had them being opened with a lumbar pump and some electronics I setup.
My hopes are some springs to hold the ports closed, and then the actuator to determine the opening. I don't want closed < 4k, open > 4k. I'd like a little in between. But, this is all electronics stuff that I will play with when the motor is back in the car.
Is all this needed? Does the 6-port help much with torque in the lower RPMs? This car will be towed to the track, and will be pure race. So, I'm not worried about high idle.
Is there any 6 port templates that are more aggressive? Or, is there a good resource that can help with port openings / closings?
I'm planning on replacing all the water / oil seals, but re-using the apex seals.
Any other suggestions? This will be an AutoX car for now. Just for fun, not competition. Not trying to fit into any particular class.

And, after lots of reading on Mazdatrix, and a few other sites, it looks like I might be needing to consider finding a turbo keg.
I think trying to port like aerosev has done might be an option, and then porting the intermediate a little. I did read about the jacket being too thin, but they do have a port for it, to make it slightly bigger. Or? If I can get my hands on a T2 intermediate, will that work?
This is not my daily, so if I end up blowing it up, or something... well, lesson learned. But, I'd still like to try and see how much power I can make with it.

Thanks again j9fd3s.
Can the T2 Intermediate housing get swapped over?
I'm probably just going to be rebuilding and using the pineapple racing 6 port templates. But, I was curious to know about swapping that T2 intermediate over.
