Have you contacted eBay security about this? They will pull down fraudulent auctions. The seller shows as no longer registered but the auction is still active. It has many signs of a scam, i.e. bad grammar:
DON'T BID BEFORE EMAIL ME. I WILL REMOVE ALL YOUR BIDS IF YOU WILL NOT EMAIL ME.
Seller is new (March 12) and has 7 high-end vehicles for sale. All are buy it now for $8K:

Ridiculous low price and free shipping:

Can't contact through eBay:
I cannot get in touch with you if you use the "Ask seller a question" option, so please e-mail me directly. My eBay contact is currently unavailable because i've reached the e-mail storage limit and i wouldn't be able to answer any of your questions
All of those other auctions are real cars that were hijacked like yours was!
scammers actually get smarter these days and change up their stupid scheme from the out of country bs to something instate. but they still offer over what you ask for so thats a dead give away.

but it looks like ebay is working on blocking those frauds. just don't do any "buy now", if doesn't look right to you.
I noticed there were a TON of fake FD auctions this morning... like 10-20 of them... many with the identical car...
There is usually some... but I've never seen so many fake ones on eBay at once...

I couldn't stop laughing when I opened up your link, is it just me
I had a similar instance of this recently with a large dollar item. A guy from Germany called me and wanted to wire transfer the funds to me for the engine and since I didn't know what the shipping was going to cost, he was just going to wire transfer the cost of the engine, then we could do shipping later. BTW - he went through nopistons.com/forum, not Ebay but he may have seen the item through there as well.
Went to the bank and asked about opening a separate account that would be used temporarily for the transfer and they said it was still not safe because if you have any other accounts, the scammers can put a withdrawal on the account you give them and if there is insufficient funds (there would have been $0 in it as I was planning on receiving money, not sending), the bank will take whatever it needs from any other available accounts. If you didn't have sufficient funds in the other accounts, they would still pay it and then charge ME an additional fee for the lack of funds! Since it was international, there's no way that we could recover the money...
Needless to say I emailed him back (per our agreement) and asked if he would pay another way. Even after calling him, he didn't want to seem to respond back, which is what I expected.
Moral of the story - don't ever do wire transfers unless you absolutely know the person first hand and "trust" them...and even then...they have your account info so if they lose it on accident, etc, you're at risk.
