dealling with SLONSHO???

Is there any ppl out there had bad experience dealing with this guy???

I checked his screen name and come out as if he is a good guy to deal with. But i bought a pair of gauges from him and paid him (via paypal) on the 2nd of march. He gave me a tracking number on the 13th of march, but that tracking number is not working (i dont wanna say "fake"). I gave him a chance to provide me with a working tracking number till now....but have not gotten any.

any suggestion what i should do??

My guess is you will probably get your parts. Its understandable you being uncomfortable that the tracking number does not work. I would e-mail and pm the guy asking if there is a mixup on the tracking number and wait for him to respond. I dont know how he sent it but I do know it takes a little longer to get stuff up to Canada.

i have had nothing but bad experiences shipping things to Canada. every part i have ever shipped there has taken MUCH longer than it ever should to arrive! so your parts have probably been shipped to you but you will need to have patience bc it could take over a month for them to arrive. i shipped an rx8 shift **** that took well over a month to arrive to the buyer in Canada.

^^ A month? I've had PLENTY of items shipped to me via USPS and it comes in 2-3 weeks at the most, but yes since its Canada it does take longer than usual, good thing Im a patient guy.

To the thread maker, why dont you contact the seller directly?

I have had Stuff shipped from the U.S. to Canada, with no real Big Delays..The shipping would take approximately 8-10 days..The "real big Delay" that is encountered is the Seller,Taking that Extra Day or two to Ship it.(boxing it up and going down to the post office,where-ever).That"little Extra" time usually Extends the Length of time that the Buyer is going to get the Package. Also if it is Shipped on a Weekend, expect it to be "in limbo" until it Becomes Monday....GKARMADI..I would contact the Seller and PM him,Email him.Best of luck to You.

sometimes depending on how the item was shipped (USPS especially) the tracking number will work only until it reaches the border, and canadapost then usually takes over so your tracking number is no longer valid.

Slonsho...i dont want the money...(i will give it back to you). Because i need this guages for tuning..my fc.

I trusted you that you have shipped the item....I am just waiting from you give me a working tracking number (you prob mixed it up with other shipping number). It prob would be better if you had told me that you shipped them but there isnt any tracking#.

Anyways....i guess...i am just lucky...that when us members shipped items..to me it arrives within 2 weeks...(never had to wait 3-4 weeks for it..unless the seller hold up the item for 2 weeks then shipping takes another 2 weeks...)

Again...like i said...it seems he is to be a good guy...
Just that he didnt give me a working tracking number....(the shipment may take weeks to arrive, but the tracking number shouldnot take weeks to be working).

I was only asking for a working tracking not asking the seller "why the items isnt here yet". If he had shipped it...it is out of his control already..

I bought a used part from the slonsho-meister and it was a typical good experience.

Usually, USPS tracking numbers to Canada are no good as once it changes has to the Canadian side the number becomes void, or that’s what they told me at my local post office. There are many reasons it may take longer, customs being number one. If they feel there is an issue with the package they will hold it for inspection. I shipped a turbo and despite my best efforts to wrap it, the minute gas smell set off something and it got sent back to me over a month later. So.....just wait longer. That is one of the big downfalls of shipping to Canada, there is little to no tracking, it can take an overly long time, and if it gets lost- it gets lost. There is nothing you can do. It sucks, but just hang tight; I would bet it will come sooner or later.

Keep us posted on when it comes.

Thats not true, you can enter the USPS number into the CPS website and it will work, I tracked my Wideband from Australia and when it reached Canada I was able to track it using Canada Posts tracking software.

I've had problems with USPS tracking numbers. When entering them on the website I sometimes get a message to the likes of " the carrier has been notified by the shipper that the package has ben schedueled for delivery. No additional information is available at this time" or something like that. Then eventually they just show up. I hate the post office, but it is cheeper and more convenient in many instances.
