I dont think he is jumping the gun, I would have done the same thing! It is about communication I agree with you on that part, on both parties. Rgordon1979 seems like he tried to contact you, can't say anything on your end. I would have sent the check overnight mail with an insurance for that same amount!

I have bought and sold cars/parts/watches/etc...on the internet, I never ASSUME the deal is done until either the check has cleared, the part works, or I am satisfied, and if any of that doesnt take place, i will be either a good seller and constantly communicate or a good buyer and constantly communicate...

Just saying you should have emailed, PM'd, smoke signaled, whatever to make sure he got all of the money, thats just common sense....

I understand where Rgordon1979 is coming from but then again posting his full address IS a bit much. Considering he lives in the valley and a lot of people on the club live around him as well, someone could have easily helped get a hold of him personally. Posting someones private information to the public isn't the best way to handle things, someone could easily be pissed off by what matt g "supposedly" did or didn't do and go after him for the wrong reasons and who know what would happen.. etc. For future reference, probably better to just not post it. Everything else you've done to try to resolve this was fine. I personally PM'd him and he said that he did mail the check and it was supposedly cleared, but then again if thats the case he should be able to prove it with a bank statement.

 

well RGordon1979 did state that he got half of the payment, so that might be the check that he is referring to, it should probably be left up to them to solve it at this point....

I recieved the first check which constitued half of the $3500. I am still waiting on the other check for the second half ($1750+$377.74 for shipping).

matt g, it doesn't matter if you sent it. it wasn't received, so just cancel it and paypal him the remaining balance instead. its so damn easy

Im setting up my paypal but it takes days for it to complete..... If i cancle the check from the bank they have 90 day to give me the money back. so im waitng to finished the paypal setup... its hard to do when im in NY not at my house... and the check is prob in my mail box
