I have delt with the jackass. He is a pain in the *** to deal with and totally screwed me over. If you look up his name most of his post is all for sale stuff, which seems a little fishy. i wouldnt be surprised if he was selling stolen parts on here.

I recently bought a harness from him. HE shipped quickly and the part was in good condition as described, and the price was fair.
He has been selling parts for a long time...almost as long as me. He used to post and sell under a different username. When I sent him the payment I discovered his actual name and remembered him.
There was some controversy with him as a seller years ago as well, in fact I believe there was some issue with a turbo transmission he sold one of my personal friends years ago. Had I known who he was before I bought the part, I probably would not have completed the deal based upon my prior knowledge. However, he was more than fair and nice and helped me out, so I cannot complain either.

Do not accept excuses for not receiving your parts. Once a person receives the money there is no reason that the part or parts to not be at your door step in a maximum of 5-7 days if you are in the US.
If you have not dealt with someone before and they do not have a Excellent reputation request that they give you a time frame when they will ship before you give them any money. Also request that they supply you with the tracking number on the day they state they will ship. If they do not supply you with a tracking number on the day they said they will ship then pm them. If they do not get back to you within a timely manner be aware.
These multiple excuse givers are usually stalling for a reason.
1) Either they do not have the actual product and they are going to wrecking yards to look for them after they get the money. 2). They are using the money that you gave them for other things. Could be that their only income is from the parts they are selling. Then when they get more money from another sale they get your part and then send it
3). They don't intend on sending you anything period.
Be very leary of members that either have come back with new names or or start there time on the forum with just selling parts and there is no history of anything else that they are here for.
If you want broken promises, hot air and boasts about what a great mechanic he is, this is your guy. If you want to give someone money in exchange for nothing in return, here's your man. Otherwise, stay away.

Well, after filing a PayPal complaint he promptly refunded my money. Said he was out of town. No way of confirming. But, I'm back to even now and can't speak badly of the guy other than communication wasn't great and he never shipped the parts.
I paid this guy for a set of fenders, $185 shipped to my address was the deal.
This jackass sent them via greyhound to a terminal in Manhattan 2 hours away from me without even telling me about it. I finally found out a MONTH LATER when I never received my items.
How the crap am I supposed to go to the port authority in manhattan and fit 2 fenders into an rx7 (which I didn't even have running at the time).
Luckily, I was able to file a paypal claim and they found in my favor.

as for myturbo88. he is curently puchasing a set of TII axles from me and seems to be a stand up guy as far as i can tell.
Look. I can more than personally state that this man is a "stand up guy" and will deliver what you request. I just wanted an engine swap done and I live in Flint, MI. This MAN (notice I did not say guy because he is worth more than that) swapped my engine and gave me a load of extra services (that most other people wouldn't) to boot. Not only was I trying to swap an '87 engine into an '86 GXL, but the '86 had an auto trans (I had a manual). For a nominal fee (~$700) he swapped my engine. But the real clincher is that he gave me an '88 GXL body in better condition and with a fully functioning LSD, plates intact and all. {As far as I have learned from this board, the S4s had clutch type LSDs.} Afterwards, I ran into the slightest driveability issues, which were (to my dismay [as I thought I knew the engine quite well]) apparently all my fault. I tuned the variable resistor setting (with his help) and whatnot, tuned the TPS and off I went. I've drove it enough to say it's the most reliable 7 I've drove in a long while (mind you, it's a new trans, new diff, new body and ECU to me), and I've drove FCs for seven years (ironic, no?). Now. that's not to say you'll get the same deal, as I know the car I got was less than desirable for most (it's an S4 [which is the only reason I would say such a thing {because it was a more than desirable car to all of my fellow rotarheads]) but not a complete pile of crap as I see way too often.
If you've had problems with him, I'm sure it's been because you've screwed up somewhere, and ended up ruining relations. If you want a part, and he still deals with local bullspit rotary wannabees after this, then PM him. Otherwise, get over that you found a JDM part 5$ cheaper BEFORE shipping (or he was out of town at the time that YOU specified they be shipped by, or whatever is your problem) and deal. I've personally seen him sell parts to hundreds of customers, who have all been satisfied. Most are repeat customers and are more than willing to wait a few days for the parts that he provides since they are in such high quality at a reasonable price.
PS - If you really want parts, deal with "flash options". They're a JDM importer. They could hook you up with the same parts, be upfront, charge you less, and get it to you overnight.
(lol, yeah right!)

THis is really funny, let me tell you... I have been buying little random parts for the past 3 weeks from various members on the board and totally confused who I was sending money too... I thought that I sent MARTIN the money for the OMP harness but it turns out I sent "myturbo88" the money instead (which is fine, he had PM'd me about the harness too)... So I was going through my PM's and found this...
"I dont know exactly why u need the harness, but I sent u the harness along with the electronic device it connects to..."
So all should be good..lol.. THat's funny.

Just for the record, this guy catahome@aol.com / Jamal Purches is pulling this stunt on me. I've already opened a dispute on him. No time for this garbage...
