I bought the Apex Power FC along with the XS Engineering turbo kit group buy. I should have waited a month and could have saved a couple of more hundred dollars. Well the question is...My Power FC was supposed to be programmed for my mods, but how the hell do I know if they programmed it for my mods. No spec sheets or any information came along with it. Any clues...??

 

(1)Copy one of the EXCEL worksheets (PFC Maps) from this forum.
(2)Empty out all the timing and fuel cells.
(3)Fill the empty cells with the data from your PFC.
(4) Compare your maps to those on this forum and also post them or also send me a copy.

 

XS modifies the BASE fuel map (according to Kohji, the tech who did mine) so the fuel correction map should look no different from the one it originally shipped with. No way to see that map until the NZ software is available. BTW, no outward indication of their work on mine either other than I could tell the box and bag had been opended. It would be nice to have some obvious evidence of where your $150 plus shipping went.

The main question appears to be if he got the ECU tuned by XS ... if yes ... you can't tell, otherwise do what Chuck says.

 

I would hope you can tell by the way the car drives now, after the tune, right?

Any difference from before you sent in the PFC?

 

I haven't even installed it yet. It is still in the box. I am waiting for my Commander to arrive. Jason said that I should see receive the Commander this week. Crossing my fingers on that. Have a Happy Thanksgiving everyone.

 

So you got it from Jason .... then you are going to need some serious tuning ....

 

I bought it from Jason, but it was supposed to be tuned by XS since I bought their turbo kit. I don't know if it was drop shipped from XS or Jason.
