extra o2????

I'll be installing my pfc this weekend along with other things and Ive heard that the power fc doesnt like anything else on its o2. Is this correct? I've been told that I will have to install another o2 for the air fuel meter. True? Or what?
Thanks

Interesting. Where did you hear that?

Ever since I installed a J&S with the A/F display, my PFC has been giving VERY strange O2 readings (typically 1.40 volts at cruising... which is supposedly not a value that the sensor could possibly physically output...).

check point in california told me, said that it would be a good idea, just trying to find out if anybody is running a pfc with an af meter attatched to the same 02.

2 O2 sensors are a good idea

Billy -

Checkpoint is giving you that advice because of me. Mine was the first car they've done with a PFC and an AF. Originally we had the AF meter tapped into the pin where the O2 sensor came in. We found that the impedance was too high, and the AF meter wasn't getting the right amount of juice to get a proper reading. We put it on a separate dedicated circuit with it's own O2 sensor and the readings began to jibe with what the wide-band was telling us.

An additional benefit of having an extra sensor bung is for when you go to a dyno - the wide-band can plug into the extra hole and you can still run the otehr O2 to the PFC.
