My car is street /race ported and rebuild 13b and use power fc, primary 850 secondary 1680 injectors, single turbo.

I took car to tuner and he tune car.. he thinks that he is the best of the Finnish tuners.

When he tune car he only use tune for pim volt. He not touch injector map, base map, even ignition map. Yes that car works 1 bar boost full throttle 12afr, street driven 13-14afr.. And i ask him is sure that car not knockin and he say yes no knocking. Power fc display readings knock 30-70

330 at wheels 1bar boost and stock ignition,, base map.

What you think?

 

Get a different tuner.

 

That would be a little too lean for my comfort. What octane is the gas you use over there?
Also, he had to set it up for the new injector sizing. How does it idle? I think he did more than you think.

Eugh, just no. You should find someone running a similar setup to you and then pay them to have a copy of their map, cheaper than a motor soon.

 

In here we use 98oct fuel or vpower99. I have datalogit and I change injector size before I took the car there. Yes i can tune car my self but i need to learn more And then i think is best took car of good tuner but that tuner is
Idle is worst. Car run very rich at idle and if run idle about 3min plugs are

 

Well if he didn't tune timing at all then he didn't do anything else than change the PIM voltages and see if it exploded in your face or not.

Your 98 octane is the same as our 93/94 anyways.
