Power FC which wires?

which wires?
Just got my Power FC yesterday and wanted to know what color the wires were that I should cut? Do you cut the wires or pull the pins which is best? Also my power fc appears to be a newer model than my commander. Will this effect anything?

3J - Blue/green stripe (EGR switch)
4O - Blue/Yellow stripe (EGR solenoid valve)
4P - Brown/Yellow stripe (AWS)
4F - Black/Red stripe (Split air bypass)
You can cut them or pull them out. I pulled them out (open the connector and slide a paper clip in while pulling on the wire)

Why mess with the split air bypass wires? I can see the others but the 5th gear need the split air according to the manual, I left the Red/black and test drove my car and it ran fine no problem,
