Will not idle

Hello, I have a 1994 minor mods with the power FC and datalogit. For some reason it does not want to idle. I will run the idle learn procedure after disconnecting the battery for over ten minutes and so on. It will idle for ten minutes with no loads just fine. It then idles for ten minutes with rear defroster on no problem. I then try with the ac on. It will idle after 6 to 8 minutes then die. If I restart it, it will idle sometimes pretty much when it wants. When its idling it idles great right where I tell it to with the datalogit but then it gets pissed off and dies. Sometimes when it restarts it idles then sometimes it doesn't. I've tried adjusting the idle bleed screw everything. I must be overlooking something or maybe I'm just dumb either way I need help. PS when its being driven it drives great no issues just doesn't always idle when I put in the clutch. Also incase it matters. It always idles when cold never a issue, once its driven for 30 minutes or so it never idles.

Is the engine cold when you start this process or already warmed up?

Is the PFC settings stock or have you changed any of them?

Try setting your AC idle up higher.

When I first did the idle relearn all settings were stock at 850 I believe it was. Since then I have bumped them all up. Currently they are set at 950, all idles. I've done the relearn both warm and cold same issue comes up when it gets warm and tries to idle. When I restart it and it does idle for however long it does it idles at the set level whether it be 850 950 or even 1150 I've tried.

You don't need to disconnect the battery, did you reinitialise the PFC before doing the idle learn procedure?

The IACV is plugged up, I did recheck. I have not reenitialized the PFC I don't have a commander just the datalogit. Do it need the commander to reenitialize the system?

Well a update for anyone that is following. After a four day weekend my RX had flooded and didn't want to start so I went through deflooding procedures and got her running. I then unplugged the battery and let her sit for 30 or so minutes. Before replugging the battery in I hit the brakes and turned on the lights. Turned everything back off and plugged the battery back in. I turned her on and let her idle with no loads for five minutes. I then turned on the rear defroster and radio, and sat another five minutes. I then turned everything off and turned the ac on one. It idled another five minutes and I turned the ac and car off. I restarted it and it ran and idled. I drove it and she still idled no issues. I went to work the next day and drove around no issues again which it wouldn't have done before. So now she works. The only difference between what I did and have done is only idling in each state for five minutes and hitting the brakes before reconnecting the battery. Do not know why it worked this time but the fact is it seems to be working. Plus the idle control screw was all the way in and still is all the way in. I am happy and she is happy for now. If anything changes I will update this thread. Thanks for any and all help you guys gave me.

where did you get this procedure from? I thought the pfc used Non-volatile memory? Would you lose your base map doing this?
