I am looking for a new Power FC. I had read some time ago that the japanese parts specialist has the best prices. Is that still true?

jps trading on ebay, got mine with the commander brand new in the box, i believe it was 700 shipped to the house, it was either 700 or 750, it may be more expensive now, i purchased it like a year ago, but check it out, legitimate company.

 

but in my experience with ebay if you have a problem with it like it dont work,
what you gonna do.

i would go with a reputable company when making a purchase of that amount just in case.

No longer on Ebay for $730.00 Shipped. New prices are around $900.00 Shipped for these things on ebay with shipping. Apparantly apexi has raised the prices. The days of finding them used for $650-700.00 will probably come to an end soon.

 

The last time I checked, the new units that are listed on eBay are for 96 and newer models, and are not compatible with a 94 FD.

 

The price varies with the value of the dollar, which is awful lately. Nengun.com has them cheaper than JPS, but they have a 3 week backlog

 

JPS trading on ebay has them. I think they have 3 left for the 93-95 fd. I just got mine for $899 shipped. They are great to deal with and fast even though they are in Japan. Yes Apexi has raised the prices on these, so you will be lucky to find a NEW one for under 800$.

I got mine from the FDnewbieimports group buy. It was $805 shipped I think, but that was before they raised the price.

I wish I would have known that the prices were going up. I would have bought one last year, I have just been lazy.

I wonder why the prices went up so dramatically. It seems like last time I looked, they were about $720-$750.

 

You guys should check out a *popular auction site* where a person may or may not have two more of these for sale now...ready to ship....and already across the pond. They could be shipped anywhere in North America within a week.....

Apexi decreased production of PowerFC's by 50% that's why the price increased.

At these new Jap prices, I would go for Jason's price in a second.
