want to relearn pfc idle quick confirmation
I just wanted a solid yes on this becuase I searched and didnt get an exact answer, anyways........
I want to relearn my idle on my pfc but have a tuned map and dont have a back up. Is it safe to disconnect the battery hold the brake for 30 seconds then go the the idle learn proccess again.
Also is it normal that if I am driving and go in to nuetral my idle will be at 1500rpms until I go to a stop then it slowly goes down to normal?
Thanks,
-Chance

yes that will work to reset idle learn, some say 30 seconds and the brake some say disconnect for 5 min then go for it so tray all of the above should be good. just DO NOT reinitialize the PFC or your map will be gone.
do you not have a datalogit to get your map off it?
also on the return to idle mine does it but that dosent make it right i find its usually right about the time the injectors start firing again on decel. So i dont know on that.

It would be very stupid for a company to make a car ECU that would lose all custom changes if it lost power. Especially when that is why they sell it. Then we all would also be stupid to buy and use it.
Start thinking!
