want look at 850cc primary map

just want to look at some people's maps, (mainly the settins pages) who are using 850cc stock secondarys as primarys. I'm having issues with crusing around town lots of annoying bucking hear and there, bad throttle tip in, plus a very rich idol, tried richening and leaning with little success. Want to look at a few different maps and see if they are much different then mine. I'm not just gona copy it and then if my car blows go "OH jigga yo I like downloaded this map guy from da forum and I like blew up my car at 13000RPM and like 45psi it's all their fault!!! " Just want to look and try to get some ideas.

thanks

Search for threads on adjusting the lag values to lean out the big primaries ...

there is alot more to it than that, the lag time gives you a base to start from

Without adjusting the lag correctly you will have issues with being rich ... I'm sure you will figure it out, we've discussed this subject thoroughly on the forum in the past.

I just worked this out on a friends car.

Ended up with -0.52 Inj lag time for the primaries with 80% for injector %.

The original settigns were 0.0 lag and 64% for injector size (550/850) = 64.7%

Basically put in -0.1 for lag (on both the front/rear rotors for primary), and keep going up and up till you get the idle to be ~13.5.

Then try and roll into the throttle to see how lean it gets cruising. if it goes real lean and it probably will, then add say 10% fuel everywhere to compensate, and retune everything. I just set the inj size to 80% (added 16% everywhere) and then tuned the lag time up to a good afr of 13.5, and retuned the fueling everywhere. it's easier to start rich and then take fuel out. If you just get the idle right and try to tune it can be too lean and buck on you. I can send you our latest file if you send me an e-mail baltruckij@netscape.net. I have a street port gt35/40 file with 850/1300's that I can send as well. both are only tuned to 14-15 psi.

This is the second FD i have doen this way and the idle is pretty good with 850's. i think that bored out 850's idled better than using the secondaries.

thanx for your post, my original base maps that I got from someone on here like 2 years ago had the lags set up wrong, they were only set for 1 rotor!!!!! no wonder it was bucking and leaning on tip in!!!!! thanks again I'll play with it a little now and see what I can do, just setting up the lags right however made the car feel like new.
