Okay when tuning for HP, and Ive already achieved 11.5/1 AFR, is that the most you can do for HP or will manipulating timing more surface more power?
My question is once you achieve the optimal/desired AFR is that all there is ?

Your assumption is based on a single number. Think of a 20X20 map (pressure x RPM) with a goal for each cell, and transitions not only for each cell but for parameter changes like temperature.

For air density, you can optimize the tuning to produce maximum horsepower, which may mean a AFR of something other than 11.5.
