If I get a PFC that is programmed for my mods (see sig), could I further tune it at home? Or would it be way to complicated? There are no close shops that can do tuning on the PFC. So I am kind of in a pickle here, need some help!

 

Go read the manual on the maps and instructions forum and decide for yourself.

There is no way for us to determine how competent your are!

 

you'll need a Wideband and a datalogit to do any proper tuning yourself. And of course some knowledge of WTF you are looking @ and potentially changing...

...or a friend with a laptop that scarafices his own tuning to let you borrow it.

 

Well I got the laptop..so i just need the datalink thingy and time to TRY and tune?

 

A Datalogit and a wideband O2 will do it. Then you have to figure what to adjust and do it in a manner that won't POP your engine.
