Dee the Power FC FAQ in the sticky of this section as well as the Power FC guide in the sticky of the single turbo section. You can PM cewrx7r1 about his PFC tuning group and notes package.

FC specific Power FC information http://www.banzai-racing.com/how_to/...FC3S_Guide.doc

(1) Totally read and study the manual.
(2) Read and save your map (for practice and as a backup).
(3) Practice writing out a map and doing updates.
(4) Practice logging the different combinations. Engine does not have to be running but then the data will be static.
(5) Use mapwatch, and learn to view the data.
(6) Try viewing the data with a chart that you made.
(7) Start real logging and updating.

Save oftain as your first starting off your tuning. I use the format of say 9-17-10 Day start, 9-17-10 timing change 1.0, 9-17-10 timing change 2.0, 9-17-10 Map change, ect ect. This way I can change as I go and can always go back if I have to. And keep an archieve of old tuning maps, just because you never know.

The biggest thing I find helpful, is teach your friends to log and update your inj map screen. Do this after your done with all the major tuning. This way you actually tune the car for the kind of driving style that you have.

Good luck out there

It is easier to tune with a tuning buddy and is also safer!

Heh, you thought texting and driving was unsafe! Running FC-Edit and driving is suicide. Though best case is on a dyno... Haven't gotton on one of those yet.

Follow their wiring diagram. If you do not understand electronics, fine someone who does and study to learn. Hint: one wire is 0-5vdc and the other is ground.

You will need such a skill the more you work on cars.

The PLX wide band out goes to the Datalogit terminals AN1 and AN2. Don't forget to commect the PLX supplied capacitor across AN1 and AN2 also and set up the software correctly.

The PLX narrow band out can be connected to the PFC pin 3C (black wire in EM harness) and this will allow the engine to run closed loop (O2 F/B Control).

You cannot connect the wide band PLX output to the PFC; it's output is not compatible.

Did you let your PFC do the idle learn procedure? Mine started high but dropped into the proper range during the first 10 minute period
