Settings for Apexi 3 bar map sensor

Running AP Engineering PowerFC on my S5 TII. Have the Apexi 3 bar map sensor but the scale is listed at 6450 and offset as 0. I was looking in the FC Edit Pro manual for the FD and noticed it lists the scale as 43860 and offset as 3289. Just trying to make sure where it should be. Will this make a big difference?

OK. I did this a little backwards. Posted then searched. Good way to clog the forums. Seems like the offset and scale are only really important so the log from the PowerFC will match my gauge. If this is the only reason, I won't worry too much for now until I can get a vacuum tester and actually follow the procedure for calibrating it. If my information is incorrect, please feel free to correct me.

The PFC already is precalibrated for the Apex'i 3 bar. That's what option 2 is by default, unless somebody changed it. Now you can physically test yours and come up with a calibration that is based on your readings, but option 2 will work.

That is why I said I did it backwards. I found yours showing 6780/3300 for the universal version, but I am trying to verify now that this is only important for the matching with a boost gauge. Does it serve any other purpose.

The values that came with the PFC give the monitor and loged boost values incorrectly. This also causes Setting 3 Mao Ref table to be off.

If all is correct, then the engine will run in the correct boost row and all comparisons of boost will match.

The MAP sensor calibration affects the load calculation. It's not just there for display purposes. It's kind of like the MAF scaling on other cars. Changing the MAF scaling affects how load is calculated which in turn affects what fueling and timing are used.
