Power FC Secondary injector driver circuit
Secondary injector driver circuit
Just had a question for anyone who has repaired this particular problem in the past.
Somehow fried my secondary driver circuit even though i was running resistors.
Opened the thing up again and narrowed down what i assume i need, which is an FET.
Specifically an NEC upa1556ah, hard to find and seems to be out of production but i ordered a couple.
The question, is there anything else I am missing that may have gone bad?
Probably going to be very few people who have tried.
thanks

Looks like the part will be here tomorrow or monday. Just a little skeptical because it seems like it's "to easy" to be the fix.
But going over the datasheet for the FET it makes sense that it's the weakest link.
If this is the fix i'll do a writeup as it's only ten easy to solder pins and you're done.

Swapped out every part on injector driver circuit beside main processor unit, still didn't work.
In theory this fixes it, most of the time it's the actual mosfet portion that fails since it isn't specced out for the current draw when running low impedance injectors.
The mosfet is through hole mount which means you can do it with just an iron, the rest i replaced was out of scope of most people without a reflow station or really steady hand and a good iron as it's surface mount componentry.
