Reworked Ecel Map Template
I've built a new template for viewing and working with maps. It is pretty easy to paste your data into it. Unfortunateley - they run 150K so I can't attatch them. If you would like me to mail you a couple - send me mail at ech@mindstorm.com
They chart the maps (on the same page as the data) a two different ways - and highlight any negative splits.

Here they are
Yep, Zip reduced the size by 80%
The zip file contains the Excel sheets for BaseMod and BaseStock.
Let me know what you think. They have made adjusting the maps more fun and productive for me.

And a few more
And here are maps from some of the forum members. These should be the same maps already posted in either the Maps section, or other threads. Just 3 - for Tim, Chuck, and Mike.

The 3-d map idea is not mine - and I certainly don't intend to take credit for it. It's already in one of the templates. The formating of the Web base maps is also preserved (copied :-)
What is new is to get it onto the same page as the map so that you only need to print one page and so you can see the changes while editing the values a couple of different ways. The maps themselves don't capture any additional data, but the charts really make data entry mistakes jump out at you, and give a better way to visualize the data trends in different maps.
Other new things, are to include a flat chart with set s of chart colorings that make more sense over what Excel gives you by default and to add conditional formatting to the ignition splits page - so that negative splits automatically highlight in red.
So just an incremental gain and a lot of tinkering over all the great work everyone else has alredy done!
