Quick Q: Changed a lot, ok to drive?

Bought the car w/pfc and downpipe tuned for 12psi. I have recently added a fmic, intake, and midpipe. I still need to buy datalogit, and an afr reader. Also, need to verify what fuel pump I have. Is it ok to drive for a little bit? I wont have $ for this for another month or so, but I would like to see how the car drives. Im guessing timing is ok up to 12psi, but I wont know what my afrs are at now

don't boost it unless you have a wideband and you know what you're doing

Also, did a lot of searching, and never got a straight answer on whether or not I need to port my wastegate with the midpipe, some say yes, some say no, which is it? I do have the power fc, and will be running 12psi

You only need to port the wastegate if you have boost creep. You will find out once you start boosting.

This is a question that kind of pertains to his question.

I am going to be rebuilding my engine and will probably streetport the engine, run a v-mount setup, and run AI.

Would I be ok to run the car for the 1k miles break in without boosting or would I run really lean because the streetport adds more air into the engine?

Also, what should idle AFRs read?

Your ok, a street port really only effects air flow in the mid to upper rpms.

Whatever idles the smoothest, probably around 13:1
