Question about using current map for break-in

Okay, I have a lightly modified FD, and I recently added an aftermarket SMIC, upgraded primaries to 850cc, and a nipendenso fuel pump. These are the only things I changed from my previous setup.

The tune it has was done by Kan, so for my previous setup it was a solid tune to say the least. But will it be okay for breakin purposes and lower rpm/boost until the motor is ready for a full tune with the slightly changed setup that I will be running?

It will be rich, but it should be safe unless that intercooler profoundly lowers your intake temps.

I can live with rich, don't know about my neighbors with the open exhaust but I can....it's the lean that I'm scared of.

Change the settings on the injectors from 550 to 850. I wouldn't boost it must without checking afr's but just for driving around/break-in it will be fine. I would suspect that it is almost good for the few upgrades you did, but I would check it after you break it in before running it hard.

Yes, you will have to change the primaries to 850's. Are they top feed or side feeds in the factory primary rail? If they are top feeds MAKE SURE you added inline resistors as they will be low impedance.
