Problem with my Apexi Power FC commander

I have a commander that was working 2 years ago. Just yesterday I plugged it in and the problem I am having is the commander displays the boot screen with the Apexi logo lit but it won't go passed that point. I have unplugged it and replugged it back in and no luck. The only thing I did different was install a J spec RHD harness and changed the blue plug. The car starts and runs fine. I really need this working I use it to display my car settings. I have no aftermarket gauges in the car anymore

Pistons,

I am having the same problem...
Can you please expand on your fix...
Was it the wires at the connector or where they connect to the commander itself?

I pulled the commander apart I think it was 6 screws. The commander had about 5 wires soldered onto the board. The problem was my commander had two of the wires that had un soldered. I basically plugged it in touched the wires until it came up and then re soldered it.

I figure this is good for a resurrection

Here’s what I found when I opened my PFC Commander. The buttons would backlight but nothing else would turn on:

The molded strain relief that surrounds the cord where it enters the housing seems well glued onto the cord sheath. So my hope to pull a couple of inches of fresh wire and re-solder may not work. Any advice on my best option to fix this?

Thanks, David

Were you ever able to find a fix for this? I have the same issue where I can see the screen, I've tried to blindly adjust the brightness by following a video and the steps to do so but nothing works. My wires look the same as yours, nothing appears out of place.

Thanks,
