Power FC Wire cutting!?
I just recently bought my power fc and i was going to hook it up, i got some instructions and i found out that u have to clip 4 wires. So i found the wires but i wasnt sure about clipping them cause i wanted to put the stock ECU back in for the emmisions test.
Anyway, so instead of cutting the wires i took a needle nose plyer and pulled out the little copper part on the ecu that goes into the harness. I pulled out the exact ones that matched up with the wire you have to cut. I read latter on that some place that sells them, cant remember the name right now, does the same thing. Do they just pull out the copper part too? Or do they take apart the ECU and remove from the inside? I tried taking mine apart but I stripped all the fucken screws!
Has anyone ever done this before? Did it work, were there any problems and how exactly does the shop that sells them remove the little copper pins?
Thanks for all your feedback.!

Actually I believe it is more an idle control thing. Not smog. If you don't cut the wires then the PFC might not be able to detect whether you are running with or without electrical load and/or A/C. So you don't get the different idle speeds that you can set.
Or at least that's what I remember.
