If you are going to run the Data logit system do you still need to get the commander with the power FC or can you just use the laptop and datalogit system? Just wondering...

You don't need the commander to use the data-logit. In fact, the commander plugs into the data-logit port, if you still want to use it.

It is, I will be getting it soon as well. BTW, IMO, you should still get the commander. It will allow you to check sensors and other info on a daily basis. You don't want to have to rely on a laptop to see what's going on.

 

The commander is a must have in my opinion, with it you can monitor your radiator temperatures, air intake temperatures, injector duty, measure your boost a lot more precisely, measure knock and see it all while your driving and more. Its well worth the extra money.

 

Yep, I just got mine in yesterday. PFC with a commander, cant wait to install that ECU.
