Power FC, locked?

Recently got an imported FD, it came with alot of FEED parts and the Power FC ecu has a FEED sticker. I can only assume they tuned the car. I have been having an issue with the car dying with the clutch in and dropping to idle from load. I went into the settings via the commander to see what the idle was set at, and everything is set to 0. The IGL map is all -25 and IGT map all -50 etc. I did a google search and it appears this means the map/tune is locked. If I buy a datalogit, will i for sure be able to unlock it? Thanks.

Yes. However your problem is most likely the upper clutch switch and/or the throttle body dashpot

Thank you. In research i found a thread mentioning the clutch switch, it appears to be operating (plastic stopper on pedal, button moving in and out). It only dies when warm if that helps.

I doesn’t hurt to be able to have access to the map, right now you have no idea what the tune is like

Drove the car to work this morning. CLT is not lighting up in the sensor/switch check. Appears that would be my problem.

Right on the money I guess the jdm fd’s only have the one switch. Even though it was operating, my switch’s plunger was not sticking out very far. I took it apart and put in a spring from a pen as suggested in other threads and voila, clutch icon lights up. No longer have to tap or feather the gas down when coming to a stop. Love this forum.
