Power FC Help

Hi, I don't own a Rx-7 but you guys have the strongest knowledge base in all the forums I've seen. Hope you guys can help me out here!

A while ago I did an b16a engine swap into my Civic and I am running a Power FC with it. When I reset my PowerFC I am suppose to let it "self learn to idle" for 30 minutes, but everytime I start it up it's running so lean (I have a wideband and it's going off-the-scale lean) that the engine dies before it can self learn. So everytime I had to skip the self learn process and adjust the fuel map right away, which I suspect is why my car doesn't know how to idle anymore. After it warms up it idles fine (but I still can't adjust the idle rmp with my commander), but when I first start the engine it just wants to stall.

So my question is, i know that a lot of rx-7's have the same problems idling with an untuned power FC, how do you guys get by this? I would really appreciate it if someone can help me out! Thanks.

I'm by no means the go-to guy for PFCs, but see if turning off the O2 feedback helps.

If the cold start is the problem, but it idles once warmed up, go to the water temperature correction map and add more fuel for the affected areas.
