Which Power FC goes in the "FC"

I'm sure this was posted before, but I wanted to know if the Power FC is the same for the FD(3rd Gen) as for the FC(2nd Gen). I know they use an adapter for the harness. If anyone knows where I can purchase please contact me. dpf22@outblaze.net is my e-mail.

The PFC used was originally an FD PFC, but supposedly it has been tuned differently. Also, you need to swap some of the sensors out.

You're much better off with another system on the FC - finding the real AP Engineering PFC setup for the FC is VERY tricky, and will be costly.

MAZDA 89 APR - 91 DEC RX-7 13BT FC3S 1480.00
i got mine for about 1100 used. add the 365 for the datalogit and cheap group buy innovative wideband lc-1 for 350, i have well over 1800 in computer managment. is it a lot? i guess.....o well. most fc owners prob dont want to spend that much but i said hell with it because i like the pfc so much.

I believe Apexi japan can still convert an FD PFC to FC, dunno how much this costs though.

having just went though all of this here in Japan, I can save that the old style power FC that was reconfigured by AP Engineering is no longer avilable.

Currently Apexi is pushing the new Power FC Pro which includes an apexi verison (for lack of better terms) of the datalogit. you simply add a wideband and off you go.

How easy it is to use still remains to be seen, and the local price for it is astronomic 250,000 yen (about 2100.00 USD)

The current pricing for the fc3s version is as follows:
CDN $
power fc 1380.00
fc commander for power fc 350.00
26 psi pressure sensor 150.00
air temp sensor FD 30.30
that doesnt include shipping or taxes etc.
The fc version is still available, however it is not in the 2006 apexi Japan catalog, which means its doomed at some point, also the commander version is specific to the fc3s version, where as some of the other applications share commander versions.

i did have a site of someone in japan converting a fd pfc for an fc by themselves. reconfiguring the wiring and figuring all the sensor stuff. a simple translator translates everything fine and is understandable if u study the fd and fc ecu and related stuff along with it. the page had diagrams and everything. someone search it on yahoo or something. it had something to do with nifty and a fc3s drag car.
