Power FC Fuel Temp Sensor

I've done a search to find minimal info on temp sensors. i have a 92 jdm fd and last weekend i installed hks downpipe, power fc, greddy intakes, and a new 02 sensor. when i started up everything was fine except my exhaust temp light was on. i read the manual and checked my sensors and the fuel temp sensor is the bad connection. i been driving around with the bad sensor everything seems fine but should i be driving my car? i personally dont see the importance of temp sensor but im no expert in rotaries ive only had this one for 1 year, 1 detonation= 1 motor. i dont fell like bying a new motor.

Should i be driving the car or should i fix this right away

it's fine. many people that run aftermarket fuel rails delete the fuel temp sensor. including myself. I don't see why the exhaust temp light would be on though.

i think the exhaust light is on because of the power fc seeing a bad sensor but thanks for the info

Plug a correct value resistor into the FTS connector.

Hey snok, i have the same issue as well when i threw my pfc on. You are correct in that the pfc will illuminate the heat warning light to let you know if you have a bad sensor...and also if you have a knock reading greater than the threshold. Not sure how to remedy this, im looking into it myself.
