Power FC Burnt up?!

So, Tonight I pull into my parking space making a right if that makes any difference.
Then the car starts shaking and stalls out. I'm like errrr... hmm weird. I try to fire it up again and nothing, won't hold an idle. I look at the handheld and it's still lit with the car off. I'm like uh, Then I smell this burning. My battery is behind my driver's seat and I disconnect it immediately cause I recognized the smell from either wire or some kind of plastic burning.

I couldn't quite point my finger on it. Then I sniff the passenger area, I was like the smell is from here. I'm like crap, I really hope it's not the PFC.

Unplug the PFC. and sniff the female ports... yeah.

My PFC has an AWFUL burnt smell. Has anyone ever had this happen?! where the ECU fried? Could it be something else that caused it to burn? You think Apexi might repair it?

Let me know ( Just highlighting the important crap.. thought I'd give the whole story..)

and to top off the night, My truck which I parked next to my Rx-7 .. it got towed, ugh! I couldn't even go anywhere! blah what a night...

not really related but i fried my PFC by trying some unsupported hacks
turns out one of the tracks was burnt out and snapped (the copper track)
one of the guys at my work opened it up and found the snapped track and rejoined it using a single copper strand from a CAT5 lead, so to just rejoin the snapped track

worked fine and tune data was still present

open it up and look for burnt components

Apexi Said... 2 month turn around time to get it fixed cause they send it out to japan... and it's only 100 bucks to repair it..
