Power FC problems after gm map sensor...
problems after gm map sensor...
I searched here and found the A,B,C to color wire hook up and the scale(41800)/offset(0) for the gm 3 bar map sensor(1222******).
Problem #1: datalogit will not allow the scale to go past 9835(cant recall exact #).
Problem #2: Car started but sputtered and died...(ran like **** so I tried to go back to stock).
Problem #3: Car starts and idles but sputters and dies if I give it gas(like it leans out big time - back fires BAD!)
I can increase RPMs by manually opening the secondary throttle plates but if I yank on the throttle cable it dies out.
I want to ditch the stock map sensor and use the gm! what the hell am I doing wrong?

commander with stock map sensor -42...with gm on option 3 untouched -38.
at idle im somewhere in the -310-290.
I wish my multimeter had batteries in it so I could at least check the signal...
Oh, one last thing...My map sensor harness has a brown/white, green/yellow and black/green(instead of black/gray)wires, dont think this should matter since I spliced the stock wires back(thus eliminating a mixup in wiring when I did the gm swap).

MOMENT OF CLARITY.....
the TPS is back there, right...what if I messed up the wires while messing with the map sensor? I mounted the gm map to the 10mm bolt that holds the bracket for the clutch line. I'll have to check that tomorrow!!
