The higher the base duty cycle, the higher the boost level. It's kinda backwards. It holds the wastegate closed longer with a higher duty cycle, or doesn't cycle as much...compared to a lower duty cycle, which opens the wastegate more. It's page 28 of the manual where it talks about base duty cycle near the bottom.

So in your case, with the boost kit system, .90 on primary and a base duty of ...say 78 would allow more boost than .90 and 68. But I think you've already tried raising the duty cycle with no luck in raising boost.

Yep. But duty cycle is a general concept applied to solenoids when using the PWM to ground setup. You can make solenoids work in many different ways. Such as Mazda did, with 400 of them .

Okay fellas,
Just got off the phone with Chris (clayne). We discussed a few things... I'm going to unplug the wastegate and see if it boosts at all... I'm going to troubleshoot the Boost control Solenoid by leaving it plugged in and blowing into it to see if it is working while the car is running (We decided that I should not be able to blow through it). I'm going to make sure that my solenoid is plugged in to the proper harness (Blue and white wire). If I get some more boost with the wastegate unplugged then I'm going to plug it back into the solenoid the way it was in the last set of pictures and tee my boost gauge into that line to see what the solenoid is telling the wastegate... Then we'll go from there... Thanks for the scoop Chris and I'll be back with updates in a couple of days.
Thanks again everyone, I appreciate the help... I think we are getting closer!
Mike
