Question PFC Tuners in Atlanta?

Does anyone know any good PFC tuners in the Atlanta area? I am considering buying a "tuned" PFC from SR Motorsports, but I want to be sure there's someone knowledgeable around here who can tune it (and has worked on FDs).

I'm about as close as you can come right now in Atlanta. I had the PFS PMC for 3 years, got to know it good, tuned mine and another 2 peoples with it. Had the PFC for about a year now, datalogit on the way, but with the local dynos wideband and just the commander you can atleast tune for WOT and idle. The Hitman is coming through Atlanta in early February so we can learn a great deal from about the datalogit and how he tunes.

www.hitman.as or something like that. We have a thread in the SE section about when he's coming. Having the datalogit will help go a long way in tuning the FD. It almost makes me feel like the PFS even with the dataacq software (great in its day) was crap compared to it and tuning with just the commander means you can tune it but no where near as good with the datalogit as well.

There is a good tuner in the atlanta area for datalogit/pfc tuning. Here has done high hp singles(500+hp) and heavy modded twins. Plus he lets you stand there and is more than happy to field your questions no matter what they are. Then it gets better, after the runs if you send him your datalogs he goes over them and checks them out. I was really happy with the job he did. You can make appointments for him thorugh this number

I'm in Birmingham and friend of mine, SPOautos is pretty good at tuning.. he has datalogit, wideband, and commander, etc...

Birmingham AL, is only 1.5 hours away.. So, drop him a pm.. maybe he could help.. i'm looking for a PFC as we speak.. But don't get tuned SR... I think SPOautos had one a year ago and ended up blowing his motor.. ask him before spending extra money for bad tuning.. best I heard is get it on the dyno/wide band and tune it..

I can tell you for sure ED has also blown quite a few!!! Maybe he has learned some since then though, isnt he the guy that used to tune at Engineered Performance?

Spend the money and get Hitman to tune your car, it might seem like it cost more but i promise most shops are going to have your car on there for hours and hours and hours just running the bill sky high.

Also, like Tim mentioned you need a Datalogit, if I had to choose I'd much rather have a Datalogit over a commander.

If you start reading and talking a lot you'll be amazed at how much you can learn about tuning. I cant even begin to tell you how many hours of reading I've done.

Oh yea, as far as I'm concerned there really isnt a professional tuner in Atlanta I'd trust to tune my car. You REALLY need to spend $700 for a diy wideband and Datalogit and learn to do it yourself OR have Hitman do it for $400. If you do it yourself your also going to need a laptop.

Amen to that. Got my datalogit finally, ready to start tuning my car now. DIY O2 last step I need since I got a laptop to run the FC edit software.

Hitman is coming in around the middle of Feb, I'll be there to learn as much as I can as well.
