pfc and tranmittion gear signals
i am installing a pfc and rewiring my harness.
do i need the neutral and the 1-2 gear signal wires with the pfc?
i did not find any info on why the pfc should know if there is neutral or 1-2 gear engaged.
a have the aws, air pump , acv removed ,i am single turbo.
do i need those signals?do make any diference in the pfc operation?
thanks

The only reason I can think of is for helping the idle control system to work better, and to vary boost/boost transition. Being that you are not using either, it should not make any difference.
If I was energetic, I would disconnect one at a time and log my single turbo manual idle engine. Maybe one day I'll try it when the temperatures drop.

checked three cars and found interesting info:
car with chasis number 113027 HAVE 1-2 gear sensor
car with chasis number 400747 DO NOT HAVE 1-2 gear sensor
car with chasis number 404087 DO NOT HAVE 1-2 gear sensor
all the other sensors on the transmition are the same : Neutral, speedometer and reverse.
the cars that do not have the 1-2 gear sensor have a plug in its position.
i guess that mazda for some reason desided that the 1-2 sensor is no more necesarry.
i wonder if i do not use it either with the pfc will make a diference.
please someone with information about that help me.
i am rewraping my harness and if it is not nesesary to use the 1-2 gear signal i will remove it from the harness.
thanks

arghh,
i think you saved the discusion.the chart explains all.
since i do not run any of the above on my single setup , i assume that removing the 1-2 signals and simplifying the harness will not make any harm.
from the car checking i did yesterday i think mazda did the same and removed the 1-2 sensor....
