PFC Settings or Dashpot?? Car stalls

I have the dashpot adjusted all the way in right to the limit where it'll start pushing the throttle slightly open but my car still stalls sometimes when i blip the throttle at idle. Odd that the car never did this before the pfc, neither with stock nor M2 ecu's.... any ideas?

I already posted a wtb for a dashpot to switch it and see what happens.<!-- / message --><!-- sig -->

It is an idle tuning problem: TPS voltage, TAS, AAS, O2 sensor, O2 FB switch, idle fuel; are a few other posible things to check.

But the dashpot still could be bad if it really does not slow down the throttle when it closes.

My car does/did this exact same thing. If your dashpot is working correctly you should be able to rev up to 7k or so and totally let off the gas and see the tach slow way down. Adjusting my dashpot out seemed to fix this problem but I still have a slight idle issue.

i followed your notes Chuck and everything checked out good so I'll wait for the other dashpot to arrive and hope for the best.

what really puzzles me is that I never had this problem with other ecus, how can the pfc bring out a mechanical problem when the stock or m2 ecus didn't?

I had a similar problem, chased everything related, finally reattached the injector atomization, solved my problem. Ironically after going single 3 years ago and capping the injector atomization never had a problem, then it appeared last year.

If the PFC is using the ISC to control idle and the revs drop too fast with a good dashpot, then you normally give the TB a little more manually adjusted air flow.

if it does it when you press the clutch pedal, check your clutch switch.

That would be the one on top as the bottom one is only for starting.

I had a similar issue in my FC AE settings. If TOO low, it can cause the same symptom.

Just food for thought.
