I am helping a friend with his PFC, I have a question, how does the PFC control the stock boost control solenoid?

Does it have a 2D map with boost and RPM mapping to duty cycle?

Is it closed or open loop?

Unknown answers as to mapping but based on the following, none.

The PFC/DL only allows setting solenoid duty cycle for the two sequential stages of boost, and the fuel cut for overboost.

Mine always ran higher boost in cold weather than warm until going with the Blitz DSBC R controller.
