You need to push the previous button until you are at the screen that says: "Monitor, Settings, Etc." Select Settings.
From the list of available setting options select "Boost".
The boost screen should list the primary and secondary maximum boost levels for setting 1 and setting 2. Both these settings can be customized but typically setting 1 is the lower boost setting 2 is the higher one. The maximum settings are provided in kg/cm2 (I think). 0.8 is about 12 psi. 1.0 is about 14-15 psi.

A two-step has nothing to do with boost...

Do a search. Basically, it is a low rpm limiter that allows you to build boost when getting ready to launch.

There used to be one.... it's been discontinued for a few years, and FC-datalogit pulled support for it a while ago too.
