I just installed my pfc+comm+datalogit, street tuned a bit and this is what I found:

It idles nicely at 13-14afr

cruises at 16.5-17.5 afr

Controls boost perfectly without an extra boost controller...

The redline beep works fine

the AC works at all speeds

and I'm logging afr with an AEM 6in1 WB UEGO (0-5V 10-20afr)!!!!

How come there are so many people here with pfc problems?

And btw, I bought it used on ebay with commander for <$500

 

RX-7s are not all identical. It would be naieve to assume that because yours works perfectly that everyone elses should.....

 

Probably because something else is wrong with their car, or maybe they installed a lot of mods at once and didn't put everything back on correctly. Also a lot of people are paranoid about everything and make stuff sound worse than it is.

BTW, mine worked perfectly when I installed it the first time too!! And what few problems I've had are either my fault or because a hose cracked or came off.

Hey, I'm not saying it never happens - my PFC install was perfect too... I was just saying it is not always the case, and you are only going to hear about the people having problems, as most smooth installs of anything, never get mentioned...

These forums are about helping people with problems... don't get me wrong, it's nice to know when something goes right.... but at the end of the day, most posts are problems
