PFC model confusion

I'm considering purchasing a PFC from jappartsspecialist.com. It's not clear to me what model is correct for my '93 US car. Dale's PFC FAQ indicates that the FD3S4 is the new version for my car, but on the JPS site it says that model is for the 1995-98 cars. They're indicating FD3S 1-3 for the 1991-95 cars. Need to be sure before I buy. Thanks -Randy

You need the one they say is for 91-95 cars....the number on the left should end in Z004.

Thanks rynberg. Based on your info it seems Dale has a fundamental problem w/ his FAQ...

Confusion continues!

JPS site shows item #414AZ004 as the FD3S 1-3 for Dec 1991-Nov 1995 cars.

Item 414AZ005 is the FD3S 4 for the Dec 1995-Dec 1998 cars.

Thoughts??

What part of "the Z004 is the one you want" do you not understand?

I recently ordered one from Japparts for the 93 to 95 and received the correct one, FD3S4 PFC.

Thanks for the info guys. Based on what I've read, I want the newer S4 model. I'm gun shy because on the JPS site Z004 does not = S4,
it = S1-3. That's what shows in the PayPal cart when you select the model for '91-'95 FD's. Since I'm guessing returns to them will be next to impossible, I want to be sure of what I'm getting.

Sounds like their site is wrong and they actually ship the newer S4 model, based on Gadd's experience. Guess I need to stop obsessing...

Exactly, stop confusing yourself. Forget all this model crap and just order the one for your YEAR based on their web site. I've bought two from them this year.
