Most current maps that I see are version 5.07. But there are some out there that are 5.08, even on US owned cars.

My PFC is version FD3S4 414-Z004 and shows version 5.07 on the screen. Z004 is
suppose to be the latest US version. But I can not load 5.08 onto my PFC.

I searched this forum and the internet without success.
If your map is 5.08, which PFC do you have?

 

My PFC is 5.08 . I just bought it brand new in the recent FDNewbie group buy. It was manufactured in June I believe.

I'll look on the box for a part number when I get home.

 

Mine's a 5.08. I bought it about 6 years ago through the RX7 Store. Not sure of the numbers on the case but I can check it.

This might explain why you had trouble opening my logs, Chuck. If you recall you had to delete the first row before they'd read correctly.

No, that was because your log was from a UNIV DL and I tried to open with the old FD3S DL. I now have both software packages on my PC and laptop.

 

I don't use the universal software or box.

Someone sent me a UNIV Box log and it has an extra identifier line in it that the beige log doesn't.

 

mine says 5.08 in the datalogit title bar, don't know about the pfc, will check tomorrow

FD3S4 020-4220

That's what it says on the side anyway. Now this was imported right from Japan in the FDNewbie group buy... could that affect it? I wonder if this is the same version I would buy from a local distributor.

 

5.08 here....i got ramys gb datalogit.
