PFC Datalogit Reads Faulty TPS
Hi all,
Just got done with trying to set TPS via Datalogit. Procedure as follows:
1. Warm car to at least 60c for wax road to disengage. (i waited till 80C)
2. Loosened 7mm bolts on TPS.
3. Got it within spec for VTA1 and VTA2 @ closed and Fully open.
4. All set within parameters.
I monitor car and the datalogit is highlighting VTA1 0.20 at close which is still within spec as below.
VTA1: closed 0.10 to 0.70. open 4.2 to 4.6.
VTA2: closed 0.75 to 1.25. open 4.8 to 5.0.
I switched out with spare tps and its the same deal.
what could cause this? I'm having drivability issues especially with bogging rpms. COuld this be it? How do i go about troubleshooting?

At idle warmed up (I don't have the wax rod anymore anyway) I generally run .5ish for vta1 and 1.1ish for vta2 and that seems to work fairly well.
