noob power fc question

so right now im pretty new to the power fc but i have read and went through all those instructions and tips on the forum. i have just freshly rebuilt my motor and changed the injectors to 850's and 1300's. i also added a supra pump and nonsequential turbo's. my question is how would i go about loading a basemap to get it running. i found that site (http://opus.bloomcounty.org/~patrick/pfc/) and recenly saw on this forum that these maps werent all that great. I am just looking for a map to break the motor in since i will hopefully get it tuned by steve kan. thanks in advance

Without a DATALOGIT, you will have to manually inter all 800 timing cells and 400 fuel correction cells.

^Which is a huge PITA. Before I had my Datalogit, I backed up my RP map on an Excel document. I got through the trailing timing and then said F'it. Too many numbers. Datalogit's are worth their weight in gold.

so another question. theoretically speaking could I just upload that exact base mod map and then modify the primary and secondary to 850 and 1300 on the settings 5 tab and it would work fine to break in the motor?

To upload still requires a DL.

What base map does your PFC have on it, stock or mod?

Besides changing your injector sizes, you will have to change/tune the primary injector lag values to get the idle to be leaner. Search on 850 for more info.
