Hello,

I just bought a PFC and commander from a member. He had it in a single turbo application, and I am not at that point yet. I have stock twins, rx7.com SS DP, and Blitz CB. I do not have a datalogit yet, so is there a way to reset back top the base map and learn the idle setting?

Go to "etc" and choose "all data init" this will reset the PFC to the factory setting.

Once I reset, do I have to make any changes with the setup I have?

 

You need to go through the relearn idle process after the reset.

 

" Start the car without any lights or AC on - switch everything off. Start the car and let it
idle for 10 minutes. The idle might be rough, but should smooth out as the PowerFC
learns the idle. Turn the rear window defrost on next, and let it idle for 10 minutes -
again, the idle might be rough for a bit. Then, switch off the defrost and turn the AC on
for 10 minutes. After that, the PowerFC should have learned your idle setup and is ready
to go."


I can't remember who to give credit for this, but it was someone on the forums here.

 

a mate just his p fc for his bat and the plugs are way to big to go into the computer he orded a computer for a 97 fd3s whan i had a look at the chassis tag its got e- fd3s does this mean anything when ordering the computer ?
he has 3 or 4 white plugs comming out of it and its is diffrent from out s6 (nearly got a free computer for our car lol)
any help would be great

 

will not fit ...you need one for a 93 or try to find an adapter

 

That is a 16-Bit model 96-02
93-95 are 8-Bit Models
