My Timing maps-trying for 23 psi

Hey guys im slowly working my way to 23 psi and currently im at 20 psi. First my cars backround- holset WH1E, 550/1600, supra pump, 50/50 water meth, 4in exhaust, streetport. Wanted you guys to take a look at my timing maps cause it feels like the car is getting held back. I was initially tuned for 15 pounds so i know it was fine at that pressure. Also what value are you running so the map will read to 23 pounds. thanks!

sorry i cant screen print im on a mac with windows

you need to rescale your maps. 24000 PIM is 1.4 kg/cm^2 boost.

1.4 kg/cm^2 * 14.22 psi per kg/cm^2 = ~20psi . So you've maxed out the map.

Right thats why i havent gone above 20. Can i just change just the last PIM value so it reads higher or will i have to rescale the whole thing?

Hard to really comment when its not in a chart, and I cant comment on the trailing as I like to look at the split.

IMO the leading timing seems a bit retarded after the 14000 pim value. Granted 23psi is territory ive never ventured into I would think around 6* at peak tq on the leading. On your 15psi row I would run about 11* at peak tq and scale it evenly down to 6* for 23psi. PLEASE NOTE ive never intentionally ran more than 16psi.

To answer the question, when you rescale the PIM values it is entirely independant from the map. So when you change the PIM scale the timing and fuel maps will sit exactly how they are but have new pressure values assigned to them.

No memtion of a 3 bar map sensor which would be needed as the stock on only goes to about 17.5 psi.

it depends so much on fuel quality and intake temps... i used to run 10 degrees at 21psi for 100 octane unleaded

ok cool, under boost i dont see over 30 degrees and often go into the teens. Knock never gets into the 20s as it sits now.
