My car wont "learn" idle??? 3k idle?

Hey guy my car is having some issues with its idle, i have a single turbo, and all of the blockoff plates.... everytime i try to start up the car, my idle will go all the way up to 3000 rpm and not will not try to come down at all... i did cut the four wires, and i did try to reset the thing so i can "relearn" the idle again... any suggestions?

what four wires are you refering to?

actually my friend is having this same exact problem....it won't seem to learn...and it idles really funky. When u first step on the gas...it bogs a little then goes. Idle jumps a little. <shrugs> *scratches heads*

Check you Idle Air Control valve. Section F pg 83 in the manual.
You can disconnect the connector at the valve and re-adjust your idle.
Until I can replace it. Mine was having the same problem.
