Mapwatch issues

My mapwatch opens fine on my PC .However the mapwatch when checked on the laptop does nothing.
I compare the settings in the menues between the PC and the lap top and see nothing different line by line.
Is the mapwatch that opens for logging a function of the 1.2 version of old datlogit or what could be stopping the mapwatch from opening?I do have advance checked.
I am wondering if updates didnt unzip or something.I am staying away from the 2.0 version.I will keep searching.
Thanks

Mine work both places with only one difference.
If I create the watch on the PC, it works fine there.
If I copy it to another PC, it still works but sometimes it gives me a warning when opening it that says the two versions do not match even though they are the same, but it still works.

Where it is not working, delete them there and then recreate them.

Well,
I figured out what was going on. When Mapwatch was selected it opened but only in the bottom menue bar which is considerd (-) . It wasnt until I right clicked and used maximize did it open.It now is so large you cant get a page edge to reduce the size. Its either open or not showing.
Also my friend who wired my dataogit had the wires backwards so now I'm on the money!
wheeww.
