Looking for South FL pfc FD tuner!
Hi all,
As the title suggests, I have recently installed a pfc and would like a custom tune. If you or anyone you have done business with can provide me this don't hesitate to send me a PM. Honest unbiased reviews and opinions WELCOME!
Thanks in advanced. Looking to do this ASAP. Closer to FT Lauderdale the better

I can vouch that Cam at Pettit has always been great as well.
I don't know why people have such a bug about one of the original founders and innovators in the RX-7 community. Maybe because he spends more time in his shop then on the forums?
Cam was winning race series in an FD before most of the people here could drive... or were even born.

After creating this thread as some of you know, i decided to give Roger at Japtrix my business. I see many people are asking why some may not like Cam. I can tell you why after meeting them both and visiting both of their shops why i decided to ultimately go with Roger.
Cam was with all respect a nice guy, but after just stopping by to inquire about tuning due to a hesitation during acceleration I was experiencing- i was unknowingly charged $80 for his time, which was spent trying to charge me $1100 for a pfc.
Roger on the other hand, after leaving cams shop, welcomed me with open arms and chatted with me for a good hour and did not charge me for a conversation or stating the obvious that i needed a way to tune my car (pfc). I immediately sourced one and made my appointment with Roger after having all of my questions answered. I was standing outside as my car went in, and he asked why i was behind the customer rope (insurance) line. He pulled up a chair right next to my car and every step of the way had me involved, asked me my cars history, and really made me feel like a friend more than a customer. My car was heavily smoking after the first pull and he immediately knew what it was. He fixed a restriction in my oil lines causing heavy smoking under acceleration, and resumed tuning. He then rewired my MAP and even fixed a boost leak. How much extra did he charge me? NOTHING. Nada. Zilch. All in all he did so much more for me than just a tune, but i only paid $250 for 3 hours of tuning and at least 8 pulls on the dyno. All of the extra mechanic work, was just a service for me to get the best tuning results he could provide for me.
We made 339whp on his mustang dyno with stock boost, stock turbos, stock fuel injectors, and stock fuel pump. At >12 AFRs! As a noob, i greatly appreciated the extra care and attention to detail Roger provided. He even offered me a FREE re tune if ever i needed it, as sometimes he stated the pfc can need minor adjustments after some driving cycles.
All in all, Roger now has a customer for LIFE. He didnt nickel and dime me and he now gets my business when i decide on going single. But more importantly than even the money, he made me feel like a friend and not just a customer.
